The Past Month...

So, I haven't updated my blog in a long time. I do apologize for that. I've been very busy. I will try and update more, but I won't guaranteed anything. :)

Christmas came and went...I'm glad it's over. I'm not a huge fan of it, and I'm thinking that it's because I work part-time in retail. Jeremy bought me my Canon DVD100 digital camcorder that I've wanted since it came out, but soon realized that I had to return it because of my iMac (it won't accept the miniDVDs). But, I exchanged it for the Canon ZR500 which is exactly the same except that it requires a cassette instead of a DVD.

New Years Eve was spent at Luke's house. Everyone had a great time and nothing got broken (nothing that I know of at least). Jeannette and I each made three different kinds of jell-o shooters, they were fantastic, but I would have to say that the cherry flavor was one of my favorites. I brought my video camera and I am hoping that I can get the DVDs onto my computer (some how...but don't know yet). But, if you haven't seen this...here is the video of Belly's night (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d3viUpD8NyE).

I started a new job. No, it's not at the Police Station. I have been helping Heather out at Keyman. They needed someone only temporarily, so I've been working there. I'm still amazed at how much stuff we sold on the sidewalk tables!!!

The Police Station application process is still in progress. I have passed everything so far, but I need to complete a medical and psychology tests. I should be starting in the middle of February.

How are you liking your imac? I got one for Christmas. I'm not sure how your digital camcorder works in comparison to mine, but all I had to do is buy a cord for it. I think it's called a firewire cord, but don't quote me on that. It's orange and plugs into the back of the Imac screen, not the USB ports but another one. Once your cam and computer are connected, just open up imovie and it should be in there.

So you have to take a psychological test do ya. That's ok I'm sure atleast one of the other candidates will be more crazy than you. Just remember if they show you one of those ink spot things and ask you what it looks like just tell them it looks like someone spilt their ink and you should do just fine.

Looks like I’d be screwed if I had to take a spelling and grammar test!

I've ordered the firewire cable off of ebay (if it ever gets delivered) so I'm hoping that it works. I haven't used it as much as I want to, but I also don't have any way of getting the mini disks to my mac. I've tried copying them to a DVD but they aren't recognized byt the drive. I guess I need some sort of software on my PC to do this.

I'll remember that tip Ryan. I would do fine on the spelling and grammar tests if I would use the computer and Word program...I would think.
