24 - 20 For The Steelers!
This past weekend was the football game that Jeremy and Anthony have been looking forward to since September (for Jeremy’s birthday, I bought him 2 tickets to see the Cleveland Browns play the Pittsburgh Steelers). The weekend started with Jeremy and Anthony having a contest to see who could keep their arm outside the car the longest.
When we arrived in Cleveland, we checked into our hotel and were pleasantly surprised by how nice it was. Here are a couple pictures.
In our hotel room there was a CD which had soothing sounds and it told us how to relax. There was also a small bag which contained ear plugs, eye mask, room spray, and a drape clip. The bathroom was huge and had the regular bottles of shampoo and conditioner, but it also had mouth wash, shower caps, and body lotion.
We made our way to the Hard Rock Café in Tower City for dinner. The food was good and the drinks were even better. Here are a couple of pictures from the Hard Rock Café.
Sunday morning, everyone headed to Tower City again so that Jeannette and I could shop and Anthony and Jeremy could look in the sports stores for any Steelers memorabilia. At around 11:00 a.m. the boys went back to the hotel to have some beer before the game while Jeannette and I continued to shop.
After Jeannette and I finished our shopping we returned to the hotel room to watch the rest of the game. Shortly after the end of the game, Jeremy and Anthony came into the room and started to tell us events that happened at the game. Here is a couple of pictures from the game.
Monday morning started with us getting up and out of the hotel around 7:00 a.m. We started on our way and we spotted an IHOP so we decided to get breakfast. I ordered a cinnamon raisin waffle filled with cream cheese and topped with blueberry and whipped topping. Yummmm!!! Anthony had a blast with all the different syrups for his pancakes.
After breakfast we made our way to Cabela’s and then off to Birch Run. Jeannette and I had a great time. We spent way too much money and filled my car to the top. The rest of the ride home wasn’t very fun, but well worth it.
The entire weekend was a blast and new year we’ll plan to go see the Packers, which is Anthony’s favorite team.

That room spray definetly would have been nice for our room. WOWSERS.
We were following the Steelers game on the out of town score board haha. Looks like pretty sweet seats too, did the guys get to join any tailgate parties?
It seemed like on the way to our party there was one every block starting about 4 blocks away from the field. Pretty cool stuff for sure.

The only thing that really, really sucked this past weekend was that we drove by the Cedar Point exit (twice) and couldn't do anything about it. :(

You never told anyone who won the contest between Jer and Anthony.

Heather...it was Jer. Jeannette pulled Anthony's arm in, so he won by default.

So did you and Jeannette run down the streets of Cleveland dancing to the theme song of the Drew Carey show?

No we didn't, I was/am disappointed in us. :( Maybe next time.
